The Model 3's battery was upgraded last year to a 79.7 kWh lithium-ion that powers a single rear-wheel drive motor good for 286 horsepower and a 0-60 sprint in a quick 4.9 seconds. The top speed of the Model 3 Long Range RWD is 12 mph, and the range on a full charge is an EPA-estimated 363 miles. It also supports CCS fast charging that can juice up the Model 3 from 10 to 80 percent in 27 minutes
