Last week I shared my Homemade Laundry Detergent Powder Recipe, and today, I want to share the my Homemade Fabric Softener Recipe so you can not only wash your clothes, but they will come out of your laundry feeling soft and smelling soooo good! I've been using this recipe for a while, and absolutely love it! Store bought fabric softener is expensive, right? I mean really expensive! This recipe will cost you less than $2 to make, and you can switch up scents too! Whoop!

Here is what you will need... a 12 oz. container of hair conditioner (I use Suave because it's inexpensive and comes in tons of scents), 1 ½ cups of distilled white vinegar, 3 cups of really warm water and a container.

You simply mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, whisk until fully mixed together, and that is it!

Grab a container and a funnel, and pour it in!

So, here is how much it costs to make... Less than $1 for the conditioner, less than $1 for the vinegar (which you don't use all of). I use ¼ cup per load! You can't get much cheaper than that, and it not only works great, but smells amazing!

And...it's perfectly safe for HE washing machines...YAY!

  5. I made the fabric softner last night even though I didn't have the suave brand to use but when I tried using the amount that you said that you use which is a 1/4 cup per load I didn't smell it on what I was washing after they were through washing. I also have to hang my laundry outside and the towels still feel rough and some of the other clothes stiff like blue jeans.

    • Did you put it in at the appropriate time, and was your conditioner scented? It has worked well for me and the rest of my readers, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't give you the same result :(

  8. I made this fabric softener using Exact hair conditioner, an inexpensive conditioner put out by SuperStore. It works great. There is a faint clean scent, which is nice. Didn't use distilled white vinegar, just plain white vinegar. I see that you have to slowly pour it into what ever bottle you are using because it foams up. I have a top loading HE washer and there is no problem.

  36. Copper scrap audit trail Copper poisoning is a rare condition that can occur when too much copper accumulates in the body over time. Although copper is an essential mineral that the body needs in small amounts to function properly, too much of it can be harmful and may cause serious health problems. Here are some of the people who may be at risk of copper poisoning: 1. Individuals with Wilson's disease: Wilson's disease is a rare genetic disorder that causes copper to accumulate in the liver, brain, and other organs of the body. This can lead to liver damage, neurological problems, and other serious complications. People with Wilson's disease require lifelong treatment to prevent copper accumulation and may be at risk of copper poisoning if they do not receive proper care. 2. People who consume excess copper supplements: Some people take copper supplements for various health reasons, but taking too much can be harmful. Consuming more than the recommended daily intake of copper can lead to gastrointestinal problems, liver damage, kidney failure, and other serious health issues. 3. Workers in copper-related professions: Some workers in industries that involve copper mining, smelting, and production may be exposed to high levels of copper dust and fumes, which can lead to copper poisoning over time. This includes miners, welders, metal workers, and others who handle copper on a regular basis. 4. People with certain medical conditions: Some medical conditions, including chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease, and certain types of cancer, may increase the risk of copper poisoning. This is because these conditions can interfere with the body's ability to properly regulate copper levels. 5. Infants and young children: Excessive copper intake can be particularly dangerous for children, especially infants who are fed formula that contains high levels of copper. Children who ingest copper supplements, copper-containing water, or other copper-containing substances may also be at risk of copper poisoning. In summary, copper poisoning is a rare but serious condition that can lead to a range of health problems. People at risk of copper poisoning should take steps to protect themselves, such as avoiding excess copper intake and seeking medical care if they experience symptoms of copper toxicity Metal recycling Copper scrap innovation Industrial copper waste solutions Copper scrap value Copper hydroxide scrap buyer Scrap metal price volatility

  37. Copper scrap buying Copper is an essential mineral that the human body needs in small amounts for healthy development and functioning. It is found in many foods and supplements and is commonly used in household appliances and plumbing. However, exposure to high levels of copper, either through ingestion, inhalation or skin contact, can lead to copper poisoning, which can be harmful and even life-threatening in severe cases. Individuals who are at highest risk of harm from copper poisoning are: 1. Children and infants – infants and children are more susceptible to copper toxicity than adults due to their smaller body weights and developing body systems. 2. People with Wilson's disease – Wilson's disease is a rare genetic disorder that causes copper accumulation in the body due to a malfunctioning copper metabolism system. 3. Individuals with liver disease – the liver is responsible for breaking down and eliminating excess copper from the body. Individuals with liver disease may have reduced liver function, which can cause copper to accumulate in their system. 4. Those with copper-based intrauterine devices (IUDs) – copper IUDs are commonly used as a contraceptive method. However, in rare cases, women with copper IUDs can experience complications such as infection, perforation, and copper toxicity. 5. Workers in copper-related industries – individuals who work in industries such as mining, smelting, and manufacturing where copper is heavily used may be exposed to high levels of copper dust, fumes, or particles, putting them at risk of copper poisoning. Symptoms of copper poisoning can include nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, weakness, dizziness, jaundice, anemia, and kidney failure, among others. It is essential to take preventive measures such as practicing good hygiene, maintaining a balanced diet, avoiding exposure to excessive copper sources, and seeking medical attention if you suspect copper poisoning.
